Artio Medical Welcomes Vice President of Reimbursement

Prairie Village, KS – July 28, 2022 – Artio Medical, Inc., a medical device company developing innovative products for the peripheral vascular, neurovascular, and cardiology markets, today announced that Raymond (Chip) Richter has joined the company as Vice President of Reimbursement. Richter is a healthcare executive and leader with over two decades of experience in healthcare economics, reimbursement, health policy and government affairs. He will be responsible for leading Artio’s healthcare economics and reimbursement teams.

Richter has a passion for translating national policy trends into practical go-to-market strategies and successfully achieving company reimbursement goals. He joins Artio from iCAD, where he established healthcare economics and reimbursement programs in preparation for the company’s product launches in the cancer detection and treatment spaces, and was instrumental in helping iCAD navigate a new Medicare payment model for radiation oncology. Prior to iCAD, Richter held roles of increasing healthcare economics and reimbursement responsibility with PROCEPT BioRobotics, St Jude Medical, and Abbott Vascular. He holds a BA in Sociology and Philosophy from Cabrini College and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins University.
