Balloon
Detachable polymer balloon
Consists of an Endura Embolization Device, Endura Aneurysm Coils, and Endura Balloon Coil
The Endura Embolization Device comprises a detachable balloon designed for use with coils and is intended to cover the aneurysm neck, reduce the risk of coil prolapse into the parent artery, and present a smooth, flat, solid surface to promote endothelialization of the aneurysm neck.
Endura Aneurysm Coils are a family coils optimized for use with the Endura System and designed to frame and fill the residual aneurysm sac that remains after placement of the Endura Embolization Device. The Endura Aneurysm Coils are packaged separately and selected based on coil length.
The Endura Balloon Coil is designed to frame and support the inside of the Endura Embolization Device. The Endura Balloon Coil is packaged with the Endura Embolization Device and is sized appropriately to the balloon selected. After the implant system is placed, a simple manipulation of the device hub provides immediate mechanical detachment of the balloon, without the need for a handle, cables, or a box.
